My Guardian Angel is what?!

When I was bed-ridden, it was pretty tough transferring me from one place to another as my body would easily go into involuntary and vigorous spasms. I recall vividly, every time that my parents drove me to hospital for outpatient physiotherapy treatment, the entrance security would immediately use his Walkie Talkie and say, "Paul is here, we need a few porters down to help with the transferring." As soon as they arrive, they would lift me up and put a draw sheet underneath me. Subsequently, they would attempt to transfer me onto the reclining wheelchair. There used to be at least 8 porters just transferring this 12-year-old boy because that's just how vigorous the spasms were.

If just one person who was helping to transfer me lost grip or balance, things would get really messy! There was this once when that happened, and I was stuck in between the wheelchair and the car door, they were struggling to not drop me as I was in spasms and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, an old Chinese man, a random stranger seemingly, came up and just help pull the draw sheet up so as to transfer me onto the wheelchair. As soon as this was done, my parents and even the porters turned to thank him but he was no where to be seen. There was no trace at all. I was shocked that a stranger came to help but I was even more surprised that such an old man could just "disappear" that fast. That same evening, once my treatment was over, my family and I were in awe and we were truly convinced that he was an angel.

As I reflect on this in hindsight, it was truly God making all things work together for my good! He sent forth an angel into my life quite literally! In the same way, today, when we find ourselves stuck in certain situations, we are trying our level best to pull the strings, to get by, to survive, to just go on and not give in to despair, God is going to breakthrough into our lives at His appointed time and He is going to send an angel to help raise us up from the pit that we are in. He who is a faithful Father will send an angel to help us be lifted up and out of that same cycle of repetition where we are merely trying to get by a certain predicament! His angels will lift us up to the next level where God wills to take us. God is going to send angels into your lives to help you, to lead you, to guide you, to protect you and to be your constant companions. Yes, God loves you so much that He sends forth angels to be with you!
